Here’s another great Pinterest article for bloggers that compliments the one I reblogged earlier this week. Thanks Janice! ~Elle
Increase your blog traffic with your camera.
You know how to write a blog post.
You’ve done it before for months or even years.
You can recite the three basic components in your sleep. You research, you write, and you promote.
Wait, there’s more than three facets of blogging. Networking is important too.
What if I told you that information is wrong? There’s another element to your post that is critical to its success.

In your social icons, under widgets, add the pinterest page url in the empty box labeled pinterest.

Thanks Trudy. I don’t think mine is on my site. Now I know how to do it.

You’re very welcome! Most themes have about twenty social media icons that I don’t even know or use yet .

Did you ever try the project on Pinterest? I’m getting a couple of pins together but not sure how good they are.

Go to your profile page and then copy and paste that link into your repl to this thread. That is also the link you’ll use for the blog widget social media icon for pinterest.

What widget did you use to add your follow me buttons? That is so much simpler and neater than adding a widget for each! ~Elle

My theme did have the option for social media icons unless you upgraded and paid for it. So I went around it and installed a plugin for it. I installed the simple social icons plugin and added the plugin into a empty text box in my widgets but the icons have no color so if that it important to you try floating social media icon plugin. There are many to choose from, and most have simple instructions. Just make sure it works with the version of WordPress you are using. Let me know if you need more help.

I’ve never done a plugin but I will see what I can do.

I understand your hesitation. I had a video tutorial to make me less anxious. And I watched it twice.
