Memories – The Good With The Bad

This will be a new category for me – I remember when…

There are a lot of ‘I remember when’s’ and occasionally I intend to write about them. They’ll be mostly about my family’s  and my children’s past and bits and pieces I remember from when I was younger along with dribbles and drabs from my parents lives. This is what I am made of and what my children are made of and life goes on…

We homesteaded in Alaska when I was younger and I vividly remember so much about that. Sometimes I remember good things from my past and sometimes they aren’t always so good. Some things will be humorous  and some serious, but that’s life – we have to take the good with the bad and hopefully it will all even up and run smoothly.

There are lots of memories from when my children were younger and some they probably will wish I did not advertise! Sorry, Its my blog!

If I catalog enough memories my children will have that part of my life to pass on to their children and hopefully the past will not be forgotten. We always say we will remember and when it comes right down to it there are many details forgotten! Take a lesson from me and write some stuff down or record it – don’t let your life be forgotten.
